2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4074 on page 70,
3 below line 24, by inserting the following:
4 "The dollar limitations on awards under items (1) and (2)
5 do not apply in the case of injury resulting from any failure
6 to remove surgical instruments or sponges from a surgery
7 patient's body.".
