1 AN ACT concerning State land.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. Upon the payment of the sum of $1.00 to the
5 State of Illinois, the Secretary of Human Services, as
6 successor to the Director of Mental Health and Developmental
7 Disabilities, is authorized to convey all right, title, and
8 interest in and to the westernmost 20 acres of the following
9 described land in Kankakee County, Illinois, to Kankakee
10 County:
11 Tract in Section 8, Township 30 North, Range 13 West of
12 the 2nd Principal Meridian in Kankakee County, Illinois,
13 described as follows:
14 North half of the South half of the Southwest
15 Quarter, containing 40.00 acres, subject to
16 rights-of-way. Tax Parcel Number: 17-08-300-002
17 Section 10. The Secretary of Human Services shall obtain
18 a certified copy of this Act within 60 days after its
19 effective date and, upon recipt of payment required by this
20 Act, shall record the certified document in the Recorder's
21 Office in the county in which the land is located.
22 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
23 July 1, 1997.
