1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3852
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3852 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:

4     "Section 5. The Chicago Park District Act is amended by
5 adding Section 6.5 as follows:

6     (70 ILCS 1505/6.5 new)
7     Sec. 6.5. Lifeguard minimum wage. The Chicago Park
8 District shall pay to each of the District's employees working
9 as a lifeguard a wage of not less than $20 an hour, regardless
10 of the age of the employee.

11     Section 90. The State Mandates Act is amended by adding
12 Section 8.47 as follows:

13     (30 ILCS 805/8.47 new)
14     Sec. 8.47. Exempt mandate. Notwithstanding Sections 6 and

1 8 of this Act, no reimbursement by the State is required for
2 the implementation of any mandate created by this amendatory
3 Act of the 103rd General Assembly.".
