1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 583
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 583 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:
4 "Section 5. The following named sum, or so much thereof
5 as may be necessary, for the object and purpose hereinafter
6 named, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the
7 Board of Trustees of Illinois State University to meet the
8 ordinary and contingent expenses of Illinois State University
9 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2000:
10 For personal services, including payment
11 to the University for personal services
12 costs incurred during the fiscal year and
13 salaries accrued but unpaid to academic
14 personnel for personal services rendered
15 during the academic year 1998-1999........... $ 70,809,900
16 Total $70,809,900
17 Section 10. The following named sum, or so much thereof
18 as may be necessary, for the object and purpose hereinafter
19 named, is appropriated from the Education Assistance Fund to
20 the Board of Trustees of Illinois State University to meet
21 the ordinary and contingent expenses of Illinois State
22 University for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2000:

1 For Personal Services, including
2 payment to the University for
3 personal services costs incurred
4 during the fiscal year....................... $ 12,676,100
5 Total $12,676,100
6 Section 15. The sum of $100,000, or so much thereof as
7 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
8 Fund to the Board of Trustees of Illinois State University
9 for the operation of the Illinois Institute for
10 Entrepreneurship Education.
11 Section 20. The sum of $100,000, or so much thereof as
12 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
13 Fund to Illinois State University for costs associated with a
14 Women's Health Initiative within the Minority Research
15 Opportunities Center.
16 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
17 1, 1999.".
