1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2069
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2069 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:

4     "Section 5. The Child Care Act of 1969 is amended by adding
5 Section 2.35 as follows:

6     (225 ILCS 10/2.35 new)
7     Sec. 2.35. Elementary school. "Elementary school" means an
8 educational program or facility that satisfies the compulsory
9 school attendance requirements of the School Code and either
10 offers classes for the first through the sixth grade or offers
11 classes from the levels of nursery school or kindergarten
12 through at least the first grade.".
