| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Chuck Dallas, who passed away on May 12, | 4 | | 2018; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Chuck Dallas was born in Muscatine, Iowa to | 6 | | Russell C. and Dorothy E. Hintermeister Dallas on May 14, 1944; | 7 | | he served in the United States Army 1st Calvary Division and | 8 | | 2nd Army Cavalry Regiment, Nuremberg, Germany during the | 9 | | Vietnam conflict; he married LaDonna M. Lang in April 1993; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, In 2005, Chuck Dallas retired from Sexton Ford | 11 | | Sales, where he was employed as a collision repair specialist | 12 | | for 38 years; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Chuck Dallas was an avid outdoorsman; he was a | 14 | | member of the National Rifle Association, The Rock Island | 15 | | Conservation Club, The Milan American Legion Post 569, and the | 16 | | Quad Cities Parrot Society; he enjoyed his parrots, hunting, | 17 | | fishing, lakes, rivers, and hiking through timbers with his | 18 | | friends; he was a fan of the Chicago Bears, the Chicago Cubs, | 19 | | and the Fighting Illini; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Chuck Dallas was preceded in death by his parents | 21 | | and his brother, Lloyd Mosley; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Chuck Dallas is survived by his children, John M. | 2 | | Dallas and Diana Lynn Otto and their spouses; his | 3 | | granddaughter, Michelle (Richard) Dallas Baker; his grandson, | 4 | | Connor Dallas; his sisters, Donna J. Price, and Linda (Joe) | 5 | | Dallas Wilson; his brothers, David (Barb) Mosley and Mark | 6 | | (Kathy) Mosley Lain; his "band of brothers," Mike, Bill, Dan, | 7 | | and Dick Edwards and Paul Carlson; his ex-wife, Donna Stabler; | 8 | | and his birds; therefore, be it
| 9 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 10 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 11 | | Chuck Dallas and extend our sincere condolences to his family, | 12 | | friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
