"AN ACT making appropriations," Public Act 90-585, approved June 4, 1998, is amended by changing Section 35 of Article 15 as follows: (P.A. 90-585, Art. 15, Sec. 35) Sec. 35. The sum of $50,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Chicago State University for a grant to the Black WritersArtistsConference. Section 2. "AN ACT making appropriations," Public Act 90-585, approved June 4, 1998, is amended by changing Section 85 of Article 37 as follows: (P.A. 90-585, Art. 37, Sec. 85) Sec. 85. The sum of $1,200,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for a grant associated with the establishment of a Women's Treatment Center in the City of Chicago to provide residential assessment and treatment for substance abuse for pregnant and postpartum women with children. Section 3. "AN ACT making appropriations," Public Act 90-585, approved June 4, 1998, is amended by changing Sections 71, 74, 84, 86, 93, 98, 122A, and 136 of Article 49 as follows: (P.A. 90-585, Art. 49, Sec. 71) Sec. 71. The sum of $500,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency for a grant to the Village of Gilberts to improve wastewater problems in Gilbertsfor sewer system improvements. (P.A. 90-585, Art. 49, Sec. 74) Sec. 74. The sum of $250,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency for a grant to the Jasper Water Works CorporationDistrictfor infrastructure improvements. "AN ACT making appropriations," Public Act 90-585, approved June 4, 1998, is amended by changing Sections 136, 145, 153, 170, 176, 177 and 202 of Article 51 as follows: (P.A. 90-585, Art. 51, Sec. 136) Sec. 136. The sum of $10,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Natural Resources for a grant to the Village of St. Joseph to upgrade a computer systemfor a parkarea upgrade. (P.A. 90-585, Art. 51, Sec. 145) Sec. 145. The sum of $250,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Natural Resources for a grant to the Village of Lemont for Logan Street Detention Pond and associated downstream flood control improvementstoreconstruct a detention pond. The sum of $750,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Capital Development Fund to the Department of Natural Resources for a grant to the Chicago Park District for all costs associated with the acquisition, development, renovation, repair or construction and equipment for a regional indoor youth athletic facility. (P.A. 90-585, Art. 51, Sec. 176) Sec. 176. The sum of $10,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Natural Resources for a grant to theVillage ofSt. Rose Township for construction of bicycle paths. (P.A. 90-585, Art. 51, Sec. 177) Sec. 177. The sum of $375,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Natural Resources for a grant to the City of Pana for the construction, marketing and maintenance of a bike trail and infrastructure improvements, including land acquisition or the purchasing of equipment. (P.A. 90-585, Art. 51, Sec. 202) Sec. 202. The sum of $25,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Natural Resources for a grant to the MemorialBellwoodPark District for the purchase of equipment. Section 5. "AN ACT making appropriations," Public Act 90-585, approved June 4, 1998, is amended by changing Sections 93, 137, 178, 179, 195, 196, 198, 201, 221, 223, 255, 273, 278, 295, 388 and 406 of Article 74 as follows: (P.A. 90-585, Art. 74, Sec. 93) Sec. 93. The sum of $500,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs for a grant to the Norwood Park Chamber of Commerce for all costs associated with the purchase, lease, renovation, and rehabilitation of the Norwood Park Train Station. (P.A. 90-585, Art. 74, Sec. 137) Sec. 137. In addition to any other amounts appropriated, theThesum of $150,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs for a grant to the City of O'Fallon for a new Conference Centerplanning,design, engineering, construction, reconstruction,rehabilitation, and all other costs associated with theupgrade of the community center. The sum of $50,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs for a grant to the Village of St. Joseph for a park area upgradetoupgrade a computer system. The sum of $250,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs for a grant to the City of Murphysboro for a youth recreation centercommunity pool. The sum of $100,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs for a grant to the Champaign County Fair Association for exhibition building improvements at the Champaign County Fairgrounds. The sum of $50,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs for a grant to the Mississippi River Cycling and Hiking CorridorAmerican Derby Bike Race and TrailAssociation. (P.A. 90-585, Art. 74, Sec. 221) Sec. 221. The sum of $17,500, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs for a grant to the City of Georgetown for costs associated with a library including but not limited to land, construction, and equipment. (P.A. 90-585, Art. 74, Sec. 223) Sec. 223. The sum of $200,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs for a grant to the Village of Melrose Park for costs, current and prior, associated with thea newpublic safety building. (P.A. 90-585, Art. 74, Sec. 255) Sec. 255. The sum of $700,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs for a grant to the Village of Dolton for all costs associated with the construction of a swimming pool in the Village of Dolton. (P.A. 90-585, Art. 74, Sec. 273) Sec. 273. The sum of $250,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs for a grant to the Chicago Park District for all costs associated with acquisition, development, renovation, repair or construction and equipment for a regional indoor athletic facilityof the Hyde Park Athletic Club. The sum of $50,000, or as much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs from the General Revenue Fund for a grant to the Pilsen Together Chamber of Commerce18th StreetChamber of Commercefor economic development programs. The sum of $50,000, or as much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs from the General Revenue Fund for a grant to the Mount Greenwood Chamber of CommerceCity ofChicagofor a median landscaping planter on Halsted Avenue between 103rd Street and 107th Street. (P.A. 90-585, Art. 74, Sec. 388) Sec. 388. The sum of $40,000, or as much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs from the General Revenue Fund for a grant to the Village of Tilden for costs associated with the demolition of a school and construction of a maintenance building. (P.A. 90-585, Art. 74, Sec. 406) Sec. 406. The sum of $250,000, or as much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs from the General Revenue Fund for a grant to theChicago Housing Authority for the BigLaVivienda Housing Development Corporation. Section 6. "AN ACT making appropriations," Public Act 90-585, approved June 4, 1998, is amended by changing Section 18 of Article 78 as follows: (P.A. 90-585, Art. 78, Sec. 18) Sec. 18. The sum of $100,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Historic Preservation Agency for a grant to the Museum of Broadcast CommunicationMuseum of Contemporary Art. Section 7. "AN ACT making appropriations," Public Act 90-585, approved June 4, 1998, is amended by changing Sections 32, 34, 70, 85, 87, 90, 93, 96, 101 and 115 of Article 86 as follows: (P.A. 90-585, Art. 86, Sec. 32) Sec. 32. The sum of $126,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Department of Transportation for a grant to the City of Pinckneyville for all costs associated with the repair, renovation, replacement, resurfacing, and extension of roadsIllinois Avenue. (P.A. 90-585, Art. 86, Sec. 34) Sec. 34. The sum of $30,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Department of Transportation for a grant to the City of Nashville for infrastructure improvementsonMockingbird Road. The sum of $100,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Transportation for a grant to the City of Chicago for all costs associated with curb and gutter improvements on the 3700 block of North Sacramento Avenue and the 3800 block of North Sacramento Avenue; and with alley improvements on the alley bounded by Montrose Avenue, Kedzie Avenue, Sunnyside Avenue and Troy Street; and the alley bounded by Ashland Avenue, Paulina Street, Wolfram Street and Diversey Avenuefor roadway improvements and curbs. The sum of $325,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Transportation for the City of Chicago for curbs and roadway improvements alongonFoster Avenue (between 3600 West and 4600 West). The sum of $5,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Road Fund to the Department of Transportation for all costs associated with preliminary engineering of the system of access roads parallel to Interstate I-190 between Bessie Coleman Drive and the Tri-State Tollwayplanning, design, engineering andconstruction of the system of access roads parallel to I-190between Mannheim Road and the Tri-State Tollway. (P.A. 90-585, Art. 86, Sec. 115) Sec. 115. The sum of $50,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Department of Transportation for a grant to the Village of Rochester for all costs associated with rehabilitation, repair, and replacement of sidewalks, and rehabilitation of the bike path. Section 8. "AN ACT making appropriations," Public Act 90-585, approved June 4, 1998, is amended by changing Sections 24 and 49 of Article 90 as follows: (P.A. 90-585, Art. 90, Sec. 24) Sec. 24. The sum of $50,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Capital Development Board for a grant to theVillage ofTilden Fire Protection District for land acquisition, planning, design, construction, reconstruction, renovation, rehabilitation, and all other costs associated with the fire district building project. (P.A. 90-585, Art. 90, Sec. 49) Sec. 49. The sum of $50,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Capital Development Fund to the Capital Development Board for all costs associated with construction of the Silvis Community Centerapark garagein the City of Silvis. Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
