"AN ACT making appropriations," Public Act 5 90-585, approved June 4, 1998, is amended by changing Section 6 35 of Article 15 as follows: 7 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 15, Sec. 35) 8 Sec. 35. The sum of $50,000, or so much thereof as may 9 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 10 to the Chicago State University for a grant to the Black 11 WritersArtistsConference. 12 Section 2. "AN ACT making appropriations," Public Act 13 90-585, approved June 4, 1998, is amended by changing Section 14 85 of Article 37 as follows: 15 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 37, Sec. 85) 16 Sec. 85. The sum of $1,200,000, or so much thereof as 17 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 18 Fund to the Department of Human Services for a grant 19 associated with the establishment of a Women's Treatment 20 Center in the City of Chicago to provide residential 21 assessment and treatment for substance abuse for pregnant and 22 postpartum women with children. 23 Section 3. "AN ACT making appropriations," Public Act 24 90-585, approved June 4, 1998, is amended by changing 25 Sections 71, 74, 84, 86, 93, 98, 122A, and 136 of Article 49 26 as follows: 27 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 49, Sec. 71) HB0871 Enrolled -2- LRB9003907MWsb 1 Sec. 71. The sum of $500,000, or so much thereof as may 2 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 3 to the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency for a grant 4 to the Village of Gilberts to improve wastewater problems in 5 Gilbertsfor sewer system improvements. 6 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 49, Sec. 74) 7 Sec. 74. The sum of $250,000, or so much thereof as may 8 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 9 to the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency for a grant 10 to the Jasper Water Works CorporationDistrictfor 11 infrastructure improvements. 12 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 49, Sec. 84) 13 Sec. 84. The sum of $100,000, or so much thereof as may 14 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 15 to the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency for a grant 16 to the Village of Armington for infrastructuresewer system17 improvements and equipment. 18 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 49, Sec. 86) 19 Sec. 86. The sum of $300,000, or so much thereof as may 20 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 21 to the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency for a grant 22 to the City of Ava for water and sewer system improvements. 23 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 49, Sec. 93) 24 Sec. 93. The sum of $100,000, or so much thereof as may 2 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 3 to the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency for a grant 4 to the TownshipVillageof Long Creek for a new water main. 5 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 49, Sec. 122A) 6 Sec. 122A. The sum of $300,000, or so much thereof as 7 may be necessary, is appropriated to the Environmental 8 Protection Agency from the General Revenue Fund for a grant 9 to the City of Gillespie for all expenses related to 10 wastewater improvementsewerprojects. 11 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 49, Sec. 136) 12 Sec. 136. The sum of $75,000, or so much thereof as may 13 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 14 to the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency for a grant 15 to the City of Sparta for all expenses related to water and 16 sewer projects. 17 Section 4. "AN ACT making appropriations," Public Act 18 90-585, approved June 4, 1998, is amended by changing 19 Sections 136, 145, 153, 170, 176, 177 and 202 of Article 51 20 as follows: 21 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 51, Sec. 136) 22 Sec. 136. The sum of $10,000, or so much thereof as may 23 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 24 to the Department of Natural Resources for a grant to the 25 Village of St. Joseph to upgrade a computer systemfor a park26area upgrade. 27 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 51, Sec. 145) 28 Sec. 145. The sum of $250,000, or so much thereof as may 29 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund HB0871 Enrolled -4- LRB9003907MWsb 1 to the Department of Natural Resources for a grant to the 2 Village of Lemont for Logan Street Detention Pond and 3 associated downstream flood control improvementsto4reconstruct a detention pond. 5 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 51, Sec. 153) 6 Sec. 153. The sum of $100,000, or so much thereof as may 7 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 8 to the Department of Natural Resources for a grant to the 9 FrankfortFranklinSquare Park District for playground 10 equipment. 11 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 51, Sec. 170) 12 Sec. 170. The sum of $750,000, or so much thereof as may 13 be necessary, is appropriated from the Capital Development 14 Fund to the Department of Natural Resources for a grant to 15 the Chicago Park District for all costs associated with the 16 acquisition, development, renovation, repair or construction 17 and equipment for a regional indoor youth athletic facility. 18 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 51, Sec. 176) 19 Sec. 176. The sum of $10,000, or so much thereof as may 20 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 21 to the Department of Natural Resources for a grant to the 22Village ofSt. Rose Township for construction of bicycle 23 paths. 24 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 51, Sec. 177) 25 Sec. 177. The sum of $375,000, or so much thereof as may 26 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 27 to the Department of Natural Resources for a grant to the 28 City of Pana for the construction, marketing and maintenance 29 of a bike trail and infrastructure improvements, including 30 land acquisition or the purchasing of equipment. "AN ACT making appropriations," Public Act 8 90-585, approved June 4, 1998, is amended by changing 9 Sections 93, 137, 178, 179, 195, 196, 198, 201, 221, 223, 10 255, 273, 278, 295, 388 and 406 of Article 74 as follows: 11 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 74, Sec. 93) 12 Sec. 93. The sum of $500,000, or so much thereof as may 13 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 14 to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs for a 15 grant to the Norwood Park Chamber of Commerce for all costs 16 associated with the purchase, lease, renovation, and 17 rehabilitation of the Norwood Park Train Station. 18 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 74, Sec. 137) 19 Sec. 137. In addition to any other amounts appropriated, 20 theThesum of $150,000, or so much thereof as may be 21 necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to 22 the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs for a grant 23 to the City of O'Fallon for a new Conference Centerplanning,24design, engineering, construction, reconstruction,25rehabilitation, and all other costs associated with the26upgrade of the community center. 27 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 74, Sec. 178) 28 Sec. 178. The sum of $50,000, or so much thereof as may 5 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 6 to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs for a 7 grant to the Village of St. Joseph for a park area upgradeto8upgrade a computer system. 9 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 74, Sec. 195) 10 Sec. 195. The sum of $250,000, or so much thereof as may 11 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 12 to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs for a 13 grant to the City of Murphysboro for a youth recreation 14 centercommunity pool. 15 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 74, Sec. 196) 16 Sec. 196. The sum of $100,000, or so much thereof as may 17 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 18 to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs for a 19 grant to the Champaign County Fair Association for exhibition 20 building improvements at the Champaign County Fairgrounds. 21 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 74, Sec. 198) 22 Sec. 198. The sum of $100,000, or so much thereof as may 23 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 24 to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs for a 25 grant to the Village of Chatham forto convert an old fire26station toa teen center. 27 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 74, Sec. 201) 28 Sec. 201. The sum of $17,500, or so much thereof as may 6 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 7 to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs for a 8 grant to the City of Georgetown for costs associated with a 9 library including but not limited to land, construction, and 10 equipment. 11 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 74, Sec. 223) 12 Sec. 223. The sum of $200,000, or so much thereof as may 13 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 14 to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs for a 15 grant to the Village of Melrose Park for costs, current and 16 prior, associated with thea newpublic safety building. 17 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 74, Sec. 255) 18 Sec. 255. The sum of $700,000, or so much thereof as may 19 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 20 to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs for a 21 grant to the Village of Dolton for all costs associated with 22 the construction of a swimming pool in the Village of Dolton. 23 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 74, Sec. 273) 24 Sec. 273. The sum of $250,000, or so much thereof as may 25 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 26 to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs for a 27 grant to the Chicago Park District for all costs associated 28 with acquisition, development, renovation, repair or 29 construction and equipment for a regional indoor athletic 30 facilityof the Hyde Park Athletic Club. The sum of $50,000, or as much thereof as may 3 be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of Commerce 4 and Community Affairs from the General Revenue Fund for a 5 grant to the Pilsen Together Chamber of Commerce18th Street6Chamber of Commercefor economic development programs. 7 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 74, Sec. 295) 8 Sec. 295. The sum of $50,000, or as much thereof as may 9 be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of Commerce 10 and Community Affairs from the General Revenue Fund for a 11 grant to the Mount Greenwood Chamber of CommerceCity of12Chicagofor a median landscaping planter on Halsted Avenue 13 between 103rd Street and 107th Street. 14 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 74, Sec. 388) 15 Sec. 388. The sum of $40,000, or as much thereof as may 16 be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of Commerce 17 and Community Affairs from the General Revenue Fund for a 18 grant to the Village of Tilden for costs associated with the 19 demolition of a school and construction of a maintenance 20 building. 21 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 74, Sec. 406) 22 Sec. 406. The sum of $250,000, or as much thereof as may 23 be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of Commerce 24 and Community Affairs from the General Revenue Fund for a 25 grant to theChicago Housing Authority for the BigLaVivienda 26 Housing Development Corporation. 27 Section 6. The sum of $100,000, or so much thereof as may 3 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 4 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a grant to the Museum 5 of Broadcast CommunicationMuseum of Contemporary Art. 6 Section 7. "AN ACT making appropriations," Public Act 7 90-585, approved June 4, 1998, is amended by changing 8 Sections 32, 34, 70, 85, 87, 90, 93, 96, 101 and 115 of 9 Article 86 as follows: 10 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 86, Sec. 32) 11 Sec. 32. The sum of $126,000, or so much thereof as may 12 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 13 to the Illinois Department of Transportation for a grant to 14 the City of Pinckneyville for all costs associated with the 15 repair, renovation, replacement, resurfacing, and extension 16 of roadsIllinois Avenue. 17 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 86, Sec. 34) 18 Sec. 34. The sum of $30,000, or so much thereof as may 19 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 20 to the Illinois Department of Transportation for a grant to 21 the City of Nashville for infrastructure improvementson22Mockingbird Road. 23 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 86, Sec. 70) 24 Sec. 70. The sum of $175,000, or so much thereof as may 25 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 26 to the Department of Transportation for a grant to the City 27 of Livingston for the purpose of making improvements to 28 Livingston Avenue and other streetsresurfacing Main Street. 29 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 86, Sec. 85) HB0871 Enrolled -10- LRB9003907MWsb 1 Sec. 85. The sum of $100,000, or so much thereof as may 7 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 8 to the Department of Transportation for a grant to the City 9 of Chicago for all costs associated with curb and gutter 10 improvements on the 3700 block of North Sacramento Avenue and 11 the 3800 block of North Sacramento Avenue; and with alley 12 improvements on the alley bounded by Montrose Avenue, Kedzie 13 Avenue, Sunnyside Avenue and Troy Street; and the alley 14 bounded by Ashland Avenue, Paulina Street, Wolfram Street and 15 Diversey Avenuefor roadway improvements and curbs. 16 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 86, Sec. 96) 17 Sec. 96. The sum of $325,000, or so much thereof as may 18 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 19 to the Department of Transportation for the City of Chicago 20 for curbs and roadway improvements alongonFoster Avenue 21 (between 3600 West and 4600 West). 22 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 86, Sec. 101) 23 Sec. 101. The sum of $5,000,000, or so much thereof as 24 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Road Fund to the 25 Department of Transportation for all costs associated with 26 preliminary engineering of the system of access roads 27 parallel to Interstate I-190 between Bessie Coleman Drive and 28 the Tri-State Tollwayplanning, design, engineering and29construction of the system of access roads parallel to I-19030between Mannheim Road and the Tri-State Tollway. The sum of $50,000, or so much thereof as may 3 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 4 to the Illinois Department of Transportation for a grant to 5 the Village of Rochester for all costs associated with 6 rehabilitation, repair, and replacement of sidewalks, and 7 rehabilitation of the bike path. 8 Section 8. "AN ACT making appropriations," Public Act 9 90-585, approved June 4, 1998, is amended by changing 10 Sections 24 and 49 of Article 90 as follows: 11 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 90, Sec. 24) 12 Sec. 24. The sum of $50,000, or so much thereof as may be 13 necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to 14 the Capital Development Board for a grant to theVillage of15 Tilden Fire Protection District for land acquisition, 16 planning, design, construction, reconstruction, renovation, 17 rehabilitation, and all other costs associated with the fire 18 district building project. 19 (P.A. 90-585, Art. 90, Sec. 49) 20 Sec. 49. The sum of $50,000, or so much thereof as may 21 be necessary, is appropriated from the Capital Development 22 Fund to the Capital Development Board for all costs 23 associated with construction of the Silvis Community Centera24park garagein the City of Silvis. 25 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 26 becoming law.
