Short description: 
ST EMP INS COVER CONTRACEPTIVE                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the State Employees Group Insurance Act of 1971.  Requires      
   coverage to include benefits for outpatient prescription contraceptive      
   drugs and devices and outpatient contraceptive services.                    
          FISCAL NOTE (Department of Central Management Services)              
          The fiscal impact of HB 6028 to the State is approximately           
          $6,000,000 for FY 03. This figure reflects the estimated             
          increase in the State's premium payment.                             
          FISCAL NOTE, REVISED                                                 
          (Department of Central Management Services)                          
          Estimated fiscal impact of HB 6028 would be approximately            
          $9,000,000 for FY 03 (increases of $6,000,000 in Quality Care        
          Health Plan costs and $3,000,000 in Managed Care Plan                
          premiums).
