$DHS-DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SHELTER                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Appropriates $2,000,000 from the  General  Revenue  Fund  to  the      
   Department  of Human Services for an increase in the amount of funding      
   for domestic violence shelters, and in particular for an expansion  of      
   the  number  of  such  shelters in rural areas of the State. Effective      
   July 1, 2002.
