GRANBERG. 625 ILCS 5/11-1429 new Amends the Rules of the Road Chapter of the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that the driver of a vehicle may enter an alley only for the purpose of ingress to or egress from a building or property abutting the alley. Prohibits the use of an alley for through vehicular traffic. Contains exceptions for authorized emergency vehicles and temporary detours. FISCAL NOTE (Department of Transportation) There will be no fiscal impact on the Department as a result of this bill.
