BUGIELSKI-MCKEON AND NOVAK. 35 ILCS 200/15-172 Amends the Senior Citizens Assessment Freeze Homestead Exemption in the Property Tax Code. Provides that beginning in taxable year 2000, the exemption shall be available to persons 62 years of age or older (now 65 years of age or older) and the qualifying individual shall have an income of $37,000 or less (now, $35,000 or less).
