1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1773
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 1773 on page 1, by
3 inserting after line 9 the following:
4 "(a) Any individual or entity providing training in the
5 use of automated external defibrillators, conducted in
6 accordance with the standards with the American Red Cross,
7 American Heart Association, or other courses approved by the
8 Department of Public Health, is not liable for any civil
9 damages as a result of any act or omission, except for
10 willful and wanton misconduct, by that individual or entity
11 in providing that training."; and
12 on page 1, line 10, by changing "(a)" to "(b)"; and
13 on page 1, line 24, by changing "(b)" to "(c)"; and
14 on page 1, line 26, by changing "(a)" to "(b)"; and
15 on page 1, line 28, by changing "(a)" to "(b)".
