EPA-LOC SIT REVIEW-POL CON FAC                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Environmental Protection Act.  Requires a  copy  of  a      
   request  for local siting approval for a pollution control facility to      
   be filed with the Environmental Protection  Agency.   Before  a  final      
   local siting decision, requires the Agency to evaluate the request and      
   make  the  evaluation  available  to the county board or the governing      
   body of the municipality or to  pay  for  technical  support  for  the      
   county  board  or governing body so that the county board or governing      
   body is able to evaluate the request.
