MUNI CD-LICENSE-RENTAL MANAGER                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Illinois Municipal  Code.   Allows  municipalities  to      
   license  and  regulate rental property managers to promote the health,      
   safety, and welfare of the public and of the occupants of  residential      
   rental property.                                                            
          STATE MANDATES FISCAL NOTE                                           
          In the opinion of DCCA, HB 249 does not meet the definition of       
          a State mandate under the State Mandates Act.

          HB 249 does not have a fiscal impact on this Dept.
