O'CONNOR-KOSEL-ZICKUS-BROWN-RIGHTER AND LYONS,EILEEN. 35 ILCS 200/15-170 35 ILCS 200/15-175 30 ILCS 805/8.23 new Amends the Property Tax Code concerning the senior citizens homestead exemption and the general homestead exemption. Provides that the maximum amount of the exemptions shall be adjusted annually by the Department of Revenue to reflect increases in the federal Consumer Price Index. Exempts this Act from the requirements of the State Mandates Act.
