1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1364
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 1364, AS AMENDED,
3 by replacing line 25 on page 2 through line 4 on page 3 with
4 the following:
5 "No golf cart may be operated on a roadway unless, at a
6 minimum, it has the following: brakes, a steering apparatus,
7 tires, a rearview mirror, red reflectorized warning devices
8 in the front and rear, a slow moving emblem (as required of
9 other vehicles in Section 12-709) on the rear of the golf
10 cart, a headlight that emits a white light visible from a
11 distance of 500 feet to the front, a tail lamp that emits a
12 red light visible from at least 100 feet from the rear, brake
13 lights, and turn signals. When operated on a roadway, a golf
14 cart shall have its headlight and tail lamps lighted as
15 required by Section 12-201.
16 (f) A person who drives or is in actual physical control
17 of a golf cart on a roadway while under the influence is
18 subject to Section 11-500 through 11-502.".
