1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 857
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 857 on page 1, in
3 line 2, by replacing "Act," with "Act and"; and
4 on page 1, in line 3, by deleting ", the Speech-Language
5 Pathology"; and
6 on page 1, in line 4, by deleting "and Audiology Practice
7 Act"; and
8 on page 1, by replacing lines 10 through 31 with the
9 following:
10 "Section 5. The Regulatory Agency Sunset Act is amended
11 by changing Section 4.9 and adding Section 4.18 as follows:
12 (5 ILCS 80/4.9) (from Ch. 127, par. 1904.9)

14 Sec. 4.9. The following Acts are repealed December 31,
15 1997:
16 The Medical Practice Act of 1987.
17 The Illinois Optometric Practice Act of 1987.
18 The Podiatric Medical Practice Act of 1987.
19 The Nursing Home Administrators Licensing and
20 Disciplinary Act.

1 The Physician Assistant Practice Act of 1987.
2 The Illinois Nursing Act of 1987.
3 The Clinical Social Work and Social Work Practice Act.
4 The Clinical Psychologist Licensing Act.

7 The Marriage and Family Therapy Licensing Act.
