1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 497
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 497 on page 1 by
3 replacing line 2 with the following:
4 "1987 by changing Section 1-4."; and
5 on page 1 by replacing lines 6 through 31 with the following:
6 "is amended by changing Section 1-4 as follows:"; and
7 by deleting all of page 2; and
8 on page 3 by deleting lines 1 through 8; and
9 on page 5, line 3, by replacing "own" each time it appears
10 with "or its own"; and
11 on page 5 by replacing lines 9 through 16 with the following:
12 "(4) Any person licensed pursuant to the Real
13 Estate License Act of 1983, who engages only in the
14 taking of applications and credit and appraisal
15 information to forward to a licensee or an exempt entity
16 under this Act and who is compensated by either a
17 licensee or an exempt entity under this Act, but is not
18 compensated by either the buyer (applicant) or the
19 seller."; and
20 on page 11 by deleting lines 18 through 33; and
