1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3464
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 3464 on page 2,
3 line 14, by replacing "Code." with "Code. A service contract
4 provider who is the manufacturer or a wholly-owned subsidiary
5 of the manufacturer of the product or the builder, seller, or
6 lessor of the product that is the subject of the service
7 contract is required to comply only with Sections 30, 35, 45,
8 and 50 of this Act; except that, a service contract provider
9 who sells a motor vehicle or who leases, but is not the
10 manufacturer of, the motor vehicle that is the subject of the
11 service contract must comply with this Act in its entirety.".
