1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1446
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 1446 on page 2, by
3 deleting lines 5 through 21; and
4 on page 3, line 6, after "completed.", by inserting the
5 following:
6 "The resident or patient who allegedly was abused or
7 neglected and his or her legal guardian shall be informed by
8 the facility or agency of the report of alleged abuse or
9 neglect."; and
10 on page 3, by replacing lines 24 through 26 with the
11 following:
12 "(b-5) The Inspector General shall make a determination
13 to accept or reject a preliminary report of the investigation
14 of alleged abuse or neglect based on established
15 investigative procedures."; and
16 on page 3, line 27, by deleting "have happened."; and
17 on page 6, by deleting lines 23 through 34; and
18 on page 7, by deleting lines 1 through 7; and
19 on page 7, line 26, after "completed.", by inserting the
20 following:
21 "The resident or patient who allegedly was abused or
