1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 592
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 592, on page 1,
3 line 16, by inserting after the period the following:
4 "Armed robbery while armed with a category II weapon as
5 defined in Section 33A-1 of this Code is a Class X felony for
6 which the defendant shall be sentenced to a minimum term of
7 imprisonment of 10 years. Armed robbery while armed with a
8 category III weapon as defined in Section 33A-1 of this Code
9 is a Class X felony."; and
10 on page 1, by inserting after the line 17 the following:
11 "Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
12 becoming law.".
