1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 540
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 540 on page 2, line
3 10, by inserting after "facilities." the following:
4 "The certified organization shall ensure that those persons
5 who have access under this Section comply with all statutory
6 and regulatory provisions governing recipients' rights,
7 confidentiality, privacy, and safety and that any individual
8 who fails to comply shall not be permitted to continue to
9 participate in assessments. The certified organization shall
10 ensure that individuals shall not be permitted to participate
11 in assessments at any facility at which their presence would
12 conflict with a recipient's right to refuse contact with
13 those individuals."; and
14 on page 3, line 1, by replacing "organizations." with the
15 following:
16 "organizations with regard to public policy, legislation,
17 regulation, or litigation concerning mental health services,
18 the operation of, or the quality of care provided by the
19 Department or any mental health provider.".
