Amends the State Comptroller Act by making technical
changes to a Section concerning warrants for the expenditure,
disbursement, contract, administration, transfer, or use of
federal funds.

1 AN ACT to amend the State Comptroller Act by changing
2 Section 9.02.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The State Comptroller Act is amended by
6 changing Section 9.02 as follows:
7 (15 ILCS 405/9.02) (from Ch. 15, par. 209.02)
8 Sec. 9.02. Warrants; federal funds; certification. No
9 warrant for the expenditure, disbursement, contract,
10 administration, transfer or use of federal funds by any
11 recipient State agency subject to the reporting requirement
12 of Section 5.1 of the Bureau of the Budget Act "An Act to
13 create a Bureau of the Budget and to define its powers and
14 duties and to make an appropriation", approved April 16,
15 1969, as now or hereafter amended, shall be drawn by the
16 Comptroller until the Comptroller receives certification from
17 the recipient agency that such federal funds have been
18 reported to the Bureau as required by that Section.
