SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Wayman Neal Lockhart, Jr., who passed away on March 14, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Wayman Lockhart, Jr. was born December 11, 1974 in Alton to the union of Robert and Lynn Lumpkins Fulton and Wayman Neal Lockhart, Sr. and Rhonda Lockhart; and

WHEREAS, Wayman Lockhart, Jr. attended St. Mary School and Marquette High School, where he was the co-captain of the football team; and

WHEREAS, In 1993, Wayman Lockhart, Jr. transferred to Arizona to work at Edward Jones; he lived in Scottsdale, Arizona and was employed as a loan officer at Wells Fargo at the time of his passing; and

WHEREAS, Wayman Lockhart, Jr. enjoyed dancing and traveling; and

WHEREAS, Wayman Lockhart, Jr. was preceded in death by his brother, Alfred Lumpkins, and his grandparents, Alfred and Sylvia Lumpkins and Warren and Hattie Scott; and

WHEREAS, Wayman Lockhart, Jr. is survived by his parents; his siblings, Jamie (Tia) Lumpkins, Todd (Leah) Lockhart, and Ashley Nicholson; his nieces, Brooklyn and Makenzie Lockhart; his nephews, Jordan Lumpkins and Jaylen and Aden White; and his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Wayman Neal Lockhart, Jr.; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Wayman Lockhart, Jr. as an expression of our sympathy.
