SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Wayman Neal Lockhart, Jr., who passed
4away on March 14, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Wayman Lockhart, Jr. was born December 11, 1974 in
6Alton to the union of Robert and Lynn Lumpkins Fulton and
7Wayman Neal Lockhart, Sr. and Rhonda Lockhart; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Wayman Lockhart, Jr. attended St. Mary School and
9Marquette High School, where he was the co-captain of the
10football team; and
 
11    WHEREAS, In 1993, Wayman Lockhart, Jr. transferred to
12Arizona to work at Edward Jones; he lived in Scottsdale,
13Arizona and was employed as a loan officer at Wells Fargo at
14the time of his passing; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Wayman Lockhart, Jr. enjoyed dancing and
16traveling; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Wayman Lockhart, Jr. was preceded in death by his
18brother, Alfred Lumpkins, and his grandparents, Alfred and
19Sylvia Lumpkins and Warren and Hattie Scott; and

1    WHEREAS, Wayman Lockhart, Jr. is survived by his parents;
2his siblings, Jamie (Tia) Lumpkins, Todd (Leah) Lockhart, and
3Ashley Nicholson; his nieces, Brooklyn and Makenzie Lockhart;
4his nephews, Jordan Lumpkins and Jaylen and Aden White; and his
5many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
8family and friends, mourn the passing of Wayman Neal Lockhart,
9Jr.; and be it further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Wayman Lockhart, Jr. as an
12expression of our sympathy.
