1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2729
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2729 on page 1,
3 line 15, after the period, by inserting ""Retainage" does not
4 include moneys withheld due to violations of local, State, or
5 federal laws."; and

6 on page 2, immediately below line 5, by inserting the
7 following:

8 "Section 20. Prompt payment Acts. Retainage withheld by a
9 governmental unit is not subject to the State Prompt Payment
10 Act or the Local Government Prompt Payment Act.".
