AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2023

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2023 on page 20, line 20 through line 23, by replacing "a notice that the individual will be registered to vote unless the individual declines to be registered and that if the individual wishes to decline to be registered, the individual may return a postage prepaid notice of declination" with "the following statement: "After your recent visit to an Illinois Secretary of State Driver Services facility, we started an automatic voter registration process for you. You will be registered to vote unless you complete, sign, and return this card by [deadline date].""; and

on page 21, line 23, by replacing "21" with "23"; and

on page 22, line 1, by replacing "21" with "23"; and

on page 24, line 13, by replacing "21" with "23"; and

on page 24, line 14, by replacing "21-day" with "23-day".
