AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1922

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1922 on page 3, by replacing line 22 with the following:

"(e) The Township Ethics Commission has jurisdiction over allegations of sexual harassment made by an elected official of a township against another elected official of a township.

(f) The Township Ethics Commission must meet, either in"; and

on page 4, line 11, by replacing "(f)" with "(g)"; and

on page 4, line 24, by replacing "(g)" with "(h)"; and

on page 6, by replacing lines 24 through 25 with the following:

"misconduct, nonfeasance, misfeasance, malfeasance, sexual harassment made by an elected official of a township against another elected official of a township, or violations of other related laws and rules. The Township Inspector General is not responsible for the training or implementation of sexual harassment policies adopted by townships."; and

on page 8, line 17, by replacing "one year" with "4 years"; and

on page 13, line 10, by replacing "18" with "6"; and

on page 15, line 16, by replacing "person" with "person, by virtual conferencing,"; and

on page 16, line 8, after "by", by inserting "virtual conferencing or".
