AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1096

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1096 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the following:

"Section 5. The Park District Code is amended by adding Section 8-10c as follows:

(70 ILCS 1205/8-10c new)

Sec. 8-10c. Accessible parks. If a park district builds a new playground, the playground area and surface must meet the standards for playgrounds contained in the United States Department of Justice's 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design or any subsequent publication to those standards on accessible design by the Department of Justice.".
