AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4163

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4163 as follows:

by deleting line 4 on page 1 through line 22 on page 11; and

on page 11, line 23, by replacing "Section 10." with "Section 5."; and

on page 36, immediately below line 18, by inserting the following:

"(i) If a defendant who is ordered to pay child support under this Section is incarcerated and unable to pay the required support, the defendant shall have up to one year after release from incarceration to begin payment, including entering a payment plan to address any arrearage. If a defendant's child support payments are set to terminate, but the defendant's obligation is not paid in full, the child support payments shall continue until the entire arrearage is paid."; and

on page 36, line 19, by replacing "(i)" with "(j)".
