AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3614

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3614 on page 28 by
3replacing lines 11 through 25 with the following:
4"of national crime information databases. Each applicant for
5licensure as a foster or adoptive parent or for employment at a
6foster care facility shall have his or her fingerprints
7submitted to the Illinois State Police in an electronic format
8that complies with the form and manner for requesting and
9furnishing criminal history record information as prescribed
10by the Illinois State Police. Such fingerprints shall be
11transmitted through a live scan fingerprint vendor licensed by
12the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. These
13fingerprints shall be checked against the fingerprint records
14now and hereafter filed in the Illinois State Police and the
15Federal Bureau of Investigation criminal history records
16databases, including, but not limited to, civil, criminal, and
17latent fingerprint databases. The Illinois State Police shall
18charge a fee for conducting the criminal history records

1check, which shall be deposited in the State Police Services
2Fund and shall not exceed the actual cost of the records check.
3The Illinois State Police shall furnish, pursuant to positive
4identification, records of Illinois convictions and shall
5forward the national criminal history record information to
6the Department. Final approval for placement shall".
