AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1628

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1628 on page 1, immediately below line 21, by inserting the following:

"(c) A landlord shall not require, from a tenant or prospective tenant, any fees related to the processing of an electronic funds transfer for payments of amounts due to the landlord under a residential lease, renewal, or extension agreement."; and

on page 1, line 22, by changing "(c)" to "(d)"; and

on page 2, line 3, by changing "(d)" to "(e)".
