SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

20 ILCS 2105/2105-370 new

Amends the Department of Professional Regulation Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation shall collect and annually publish data on the racial and ethnic makeup of applicants who were denied licensure by the Department.

AN ACT concerning State government.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Department of Professional Regulation Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by adding Section 2105-370 as follows:

(20 ILCS 2105/2105-370 new)

Sec. 2105-370. Data on denied applications. The Department shall collect and annually publish data on the racial and ethnic makeup of applicants who were denied licensure by the Department.
