1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1097
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1097 on page 4, by
3 replacing lines 20 and 21 with the following:
4 "(c) A grant under this Section shall be based on whether
5 the applicant has financial need, as determined by the
6 Commission using the information reported on the applicant's
7 Free Application For Federal Student Aid ~~An applicant for a~~
8 ~~grant under this Section need not demonstrate financial need~~
9 ~~to qualify for the benefits~~."; and

10 on page 5, line 8, by replacing "2023" with "2024".
