SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

5 ILCS 460/70

Amends the State Designations Act. Provides that Theatre in the Park is the Official State Theatre of Illinois (currently, the Great American People Show).

AN ACT concerning theatre.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The State Designations Act is amended by changing Section 70 as follows:

(5 ILCS 460/70)

Sec. 70. State theatre. Theatre in the Park The Great American People Show is designated as Illinois' Official State Theatre of Lincoln and the American Experience.
