AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1357

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1357 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the following:

"Section 5. The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Act is amended by adding Section 7i as follows:

(70 ILCS 2605/7i new)

Sec. 7i. Watershed management conformance. No later than one year after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 102nd General Assembly, railroads owning more than 5% of land in a municipality within the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District shall be in conformance with the requirements of the District's Watershed Management Ordinance.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.".
