AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3646

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3646 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the following:

"Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the Township Reform and Accountability Act.

(35 ILCS 200/Art. 2 rep.)

Section 975. The Property Tax Code is amended by repealing Article 2.

(60 ILCS 1/Act rep.)

Section 980. The Township Code is repealed.

(305 ILCS 5/Art. VI rep.)

Section 985. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by repealing Article VI.

(605 ILCS 5/Art. 6 rep.)

Section 990. The Illinois Highway Code is amended by repealing Article 6.

Section 999. Effective date. This Act takes effect January 1, 2022.".
