| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Nancy Ann Crement of Carpentersville, who | 4 | | passed away on January 9, 2017 at the age of 73; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Nancy Crement was born in Chicago to Edwin and | 6 | | Irma Schultz on February 13, 1943; she married her high school | 7 | | sweetheart and the love of her life, David E. Crement; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Nancy Crement dedicated her entire life to helping | 9 | | others with all the positivity and enthusiasm one would expect; | 10 | | she excelled as a drug and alcohol counselor, focusing her | 11 | | talents on working with troubled teens; she also volunteered | 12 | | for many years with the Girl Scouts of America; following her | 13 | | retirement, she served as a substitute teacher for Huntley | 14 | | District 158, which she dearly loved; she was also a member of | 15 | | the Knitters Guild of America; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Nancy Crement was a devoted and caring wife, | 17 | | mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was loved by all | 18 | | who knew her; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Nancy Crement was preceded in death by her | 20 | | parents; and her great-granddaughters, Jordyn Schwab and | 21 | | Audrey Schwab; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Nancy Crement is survived by her husband; her | 2 | | daughters, Susan Kay Crement and Beverly Ann Smith (Joe | 3 | | Smithwick); her brother, William (Shirley) Stalley; her | 4 | | grandchildren, Joseph (Katlyn) Schwab, Jeremy (Brittany) | 5 | | Schwab, David Myszczcak (Danielle Barnewolt), Zaine and Ava | 6 | | Smithwick; and her great-granddaughter, Joslyn Schwab; | 7 | | therefore, be it
| 8 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 9 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 10 | | Nancy Ann Crement, and extend our sincere condolences to her | 11 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | 12 | | further
