1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4724
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4724 on page 2, by
3 replacing line 17 with the following:
4 "the production unit. If the first purchaser fails to withhold
5 and remit the tax to the Department from oil and gas produced
6 from a production unit permitted, or required to be permitted,
7 under this Act, the first purchaser and producers shall be
8 jointly and severally liable for the tax to the Department. The
9 changes made by this amendatory Act of".
