1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1813
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1813 on page 1,
3 line 5, by changing "Section 35" to "Sections 35 and 70"; and

4 on page 2, by inserting immediately below line 4 the following:

5     "(775 ILCS 40/70)
6     Sec. 70. Filing of claims. This Act applies to claims of
7 torture filed not later than 10 ~~5~~ years after the effective
8 date of this Act.
