1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3323
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3323 as follows:

3 on page 1, line 8, by replacing "all" with "certain"; and

4 on page 1, line 9, immediately after "supplies.", by inserting:
5 "These rules shall exclude maintenance activities of existing
6 water-supply components, including, but not limited to, the
7 painting and treatment of fire hydrants, pump stations, and
8 treatment facilities. These rules shall exclude any activities
9 currently performed by water utilities, including the
10 installation of poly wrap and other corrosion control measures
11 that are employed to protect buried pipe lines from
12 corrosion."; and

13 on page 4, line 11, by replacing "all" with "certain"; and

14 on page 4, line 12, immediately after "bridges.", by inserting

1 "These rules shall exclude maintenance activities that can
2 otherwise be performed by the existing personnel of a highway
3 jurisdiction.".
