AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 737

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 737, AS AMENDED, with page and line references to Senate Amendment No. 1 as follows:

on page 254, immediately below line 1, by inserting the following:

"Prior to the issuance of an owners license, the Board shall submit its decision to the city council of the municipality in which the home dock of the riverboat is located. Such city council then has 30 days to review the decision and may, by ordinance, reject the Board's decision and specify the city council's objections."; and

on page 303, line 11, after "gambling", by inserting "outside of the City of Rockford"; and

on page 303, line 13, after "casino", by inserting "outside of the City of Rockford"; and

on page 303, line 18, after "operations", by inserting "outside of the City of Rockford"; and

on page 303, line 21, after "operations", by inserting "outside of the City of Rockford"; and

on page 304, immediately below line 1, by inserting the following:

"Beginning after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 96th General Assembly, from the tax revenue from the riverboat located in the City of Rockford deposited in the State Gaming Fund under this Section, an amount equal to 3% of adjusted gross receipts generated by the riverboat located in the City of Rockford shall be paid monthly, subject to appropriation by the General Assembly, to the City of Rockford, of which 33% shall be used for the purpose of infrastructure improvements.

Beginning on the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 96th General Assembly, from the tax revenue from riverboat located in the City of Rockford deposited in the State Gaming Fund under this Section, an amount equal to 2% of adjusted gross receipts by the riverboat located in the City of Rockford shall be paid monthly, subject to appropriation by the General Assembly, to Winnebago County, of which 33% shall be used for the purpose of infrastructure improvements.".
