AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 614

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 614 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the following:

"Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Section 2-3.109c as follows:

(105 ILCS 5/2-3.109c new)

Sec. 2-3.109c. Regional office of education grant eligibility. A regional office of education may apply for and be eligible to receive, subject to the same restrictions applicable to school districts, any grant administered by the State Board of Education that is available for school districts.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.".
