AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 6061

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 6061 as follows:

on page 2, by deleting lines 18 through 20; and

on page 2, line 21, by replacing "(e)" with "(d)"; and

on page 2, line 25, by deleting "is pregnant or"; and

on page 2, line 26, by replacing "(f)" with "(e)"; and

by replacing line 13 on page 3 through line 10 on page 4 with the following:

"(215 ILCS 125/4-6.1a new)

Sec. 4-6.1a. Coverage for women with a previous cesarean delivery. No health maintenance organization shall refuse to insure, refuse to continue to insure, limit the amount or extent or kind of coverage available to an individual, or charge an individual a different rate for the same coverage solely on the basis that the individual had a previous cesarean delivery.".
