AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5141

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5141 on page 2, by replacing lines 9 through 18 with the following: "hour, and from July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009 every employer shall pay to each of his or her employees who is 18 years of age or older in every occupation wages of not less than $7.75 per hour, and from July 1, 2009 through August 31, 2009 June 30, 2010 every employer shall pay to each of his or her employees who is 18 years of age or older in every occupation wages of not less than $8.00 per hour, and from September 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010 every employer shall pay to each of his or her employees in every occupation wages of not less than $8.00 per hour, and on and after July 1, 2010 every"; and

on page 6, lines 9 and 10 by changing "January 1, 2009" to "September 1, 2009".
