SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

305 ILCS 5/3-2.6 new

Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code. In connection with the Aid to the Aged, Blind or Disabled program, provides that the Department of Human Services shall increase the sheltered care rates in effect on June 30, 2008, by 10%. Effective immediately.

AN ACT concerning public aid.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by adding Section 3-2.6 as follows:

(305 ILCS 5/3-2.6 new)

Sec. 3-2.6. Sheltered care rates. The Department of Human Services shall increase the sheltered care rates in effect on June 30, 2008, by 10%.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
