SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

305 ILCS 5/12-4.24b new

Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code. Requires the Department of Healthcare and Family Services to file a monthly written report with the General Assembly stating the current enrollment in each program administered by the Department that is funded in whole or in part with moneys appropriated for medical assistance line items in the Department's budget. Effective immediately.

AN ACT concerning public aid.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by adding Section 12-4.24b as follows:

(305 ILCS 5/12-4.24b new)

Sec. 12-4.24b. Report of enrollment in medical assistance-funded programs. The Department of Healthcare and Family Services shall file a monthly written report with the General Assembly stating the current enrollment in each program administered by the Department that is funded in whole or in part with moneys appropriated for medical assistance line items in the Department's budget.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
