AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2980

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2980 on page 4, line 13, after the period, by inserting "A municipal police department may apply for a waiver excusing the municipal police department from compliance with these reporting requirements. The Secretary of Transportation may, in his or her discretion, grant the requested waiver on the basis of factors, including but not limited to the small size of the municipal police department, that would prevent the municipal police department from complying with these reporting requirements.".
