AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1454

2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1454 as follows:
 
3 on page 1, line 5, by deleting "12-65,"; and
 
4 on page 1, by replacing lines 20 through 23 with the following:
5 "the number of acres or lots improved, and the assessed value;
6 the assessed value of improvements; the total value; and other
7 information as may be required. A county may elect, by
8 ordinance, that the lists must contain columns to show the
9 number of acres or any other land unit of comparison, the total
10 assessed value, and other information as may be required. The
11 county clerk shall also"; and
 
12 on page 2, by replacing lines 18 through 22 with the following:
13 "Illinois. The assessor or deputy shall set down, in the books
14 furnished for that purpose the assessed valuation of properties
15 in one column, the assessed value of improvements in another,
16 and the total valuation in a separate column. A county may
17 elect, by ordinance, that the assessor or deputy shall set
18 down, in books furnished for that purpose the number of acres
19 or any other land unit of comparison in one column and the
20 total valuation in a separate column."; and
 
21 on page 2, by replacing lines 30 through 32 with the following:
22 "each property, and the total amount of its assessment and how

1 much of the assessment is attributable to the improvements on
2 the property. A county may elect, by ordinance, that the
3 publication of the assessments shall include the name of the
4 owner or of the person who last paid the taxes on the each
5 property, the number of acres or any other land unit of
6 comparison, and the total amount of its assessment. When any
7 property so assessed is susceptible of"; and
 
8 on page 3, by deleting lines 5 through 35; and
 
9 on page 4, by deleting lines 1 through 4.
